In March 2008 the congregation embarked on an exciting new phase of it's life with the opening of The Acorn Centre
Over the past seven or eight years the congregation have been
working towards using their building in a more resourceful way. So in January 2007 the building was closed and work began
to redevelop the interior. A new floor was put in dividing the church in two creating a worship, conference and concert
space upstairs and a hospitality area downstairs along with a number of smaller meeting rooms, UBUNTU a permanent fair
trade shop and a gallery.
The Acorn Centre is open Tuesday - Saturday
for teas and coffees, light lunches and afternoon teas.
